Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Junior Mechanical Engineer to assist in execution, supervision, and coordination of mechanical works at construction sites. The role involves supporting senior engineers in ensuring mechanical systems are installed and maintained as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety norms.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in supervision and execution of mechanical works such as HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, and mechanical equipment installation
Support interpretation of mechanical drawings, layouts, and specifications
Monitor work progress and maintain daily site reports and records
Assist in inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and other teams to ensure smooth execution
Support quality control checks and compliance with approved standards
Assist in material planning, verification, and inventory control
Ensure adherence to safety norms and report unsafe practices
Help in measurements, bill verification, and documentation

Basic knowledge of mechanical systems used in construction projects
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics
Familiarity with installation, testing, and commissioning procedures
Basic computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD preferred)
Good communication and coordination skills
Willingness to work at project sites and in field conditions
Exposure to HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, or industrial mechanical systems
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
