  1. Answers and screens phone calls.
  2. Schedules and coordinates appointments, meetings and events.
  3. Transcribes drafts, proofreads and revises correspondence, memos, minutes, resolutions and policies.
  4. Assists in the completion of various forms, notices, and other communications, which may require posting and/or publication.
  5. Exhibits ability to constructively deal with conflict and afford effective resolutions.
  6. Suggests policy changes in order to streamline department operations.
  7. Exhibits willingness to ensure successful inter-departmental relationships.
  8. Responsible for typing, photocopying and appropriate distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  9. Participates in meetings and takes appropriate action in line with service provision.
  10. Communicates schedules and coordinates appointments (as assigned).
  11. Files all documents for Medical & Clinical and other administrative related.
  12. Receives visitors and provide appropriate hospitality.
  13. Maintains supplies of office stationeries.
  14. Types correspondence and other documents as required.
  15. Takes and transcribes minutes of meetings as required.
  16. Maintains confidentiality at all times
  17. Works in a professional environment and maintain high standards of personal accountability.
  18. Contributes and participates in quality improvement and patient safety programs/activities, risk management programs and performance/process improvement projects.
