Job Title: Agriculture Foreman

Reports To: Farm Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Agriculture Foreman to oversee and manage day-to-day agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in farming practices, a strong understanding of crop/livestock management, and the ability to lead a team of farm workers to ensure productivity, efficiency, and safety across all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate activities of agricultural workers engaged in planting, cultivating, irrigating, harvesting, and general farm maintenance.
2. Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of activities.
3. Monitor crop growth and livestock health; identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
4. Operate and maintain farm equipment and ensure proper usage by workers.
5. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
6. Report progress and operational issues to the Farm Manager regularly.
7. Keep accurate records of labor, equipment use, crop/livestock yields, and other data.
8. Train new employees on farming techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
9. Manage inventory of seeds, fertilizers, chemicals, tools, and other supplies.
10. Assist with irrigation scheduling and water usage monitoring.
