Key Responsibilities:

1. Technicians install and configure a wide range of telecom equipment, routers, switches, RF antenna, MW antenna, as per provided documents and network cabling.
2. Keep Safety on priority and always use safety PPE to transport material to site or local warehouse.
3. Perform Terrian data and submit accurate reports.
4. Complete the MW configuration, MW visibility after alignment and XPD completion.
5. Complete site integration after MW visibility completion.
6. Supervision of Complete indoor, outdoor installation.
7. Provide technical support to remote teams for troubleshooting.
8. Testing all End-to-End licensed links using JDSU VIAVI MTS5800 device
9. Technician should interact with Team lead, NOC, BCARE and with clients.
10. Handling CTT of different media, when network issues arise, technicians are tasked with diagnosing and resolving problems. This includes identifying faulty hardware and ensuring that services are restored promptly.
11. Technicians perform routine inspections, cleanings, and upgrades to prevent downtime and maintain equipment performance.
12. Technicians are responsible for managing network cabling, including Ethernet, Fiber optic, and coaxial cables. They must ensure that cables are organized and labelled correctly to maintain the network.
13. They use specialized tools and equipment to test and certify cabling installations for compliance with industry standards. This is critical to ensure data transmission reliability.
14. Submit complete Handover after installing any new service to claim for Job complication order.
15. The telecom industry is constantly evolving with new technologies and protocols. Technicians need to stay updated on the latest trends and adapt to changes in the field.
