The Role:
Quality Control Officer is responsible for supervising staff and maintaining quality control processes, analyzing the results, and giving feedback and guidance to the production team under direct supervision. Must insure and assist in determining if materials, products, and/or processes are in accordance with specifications. Ensure the staff follows the set processes and adheres to best production practices and product quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular quality inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and consistency.
Monitor production processes and identify potential quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, testing results, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with production teams to educate and train staff on quality standards and best practices.
Assist in the development of quality control training materials and programs.
Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, implementing changes as required.
Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
Participate in the development of product specifications.
Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points. Implement quality control training programs.
All other duties as assigned.
